I've been trying to figure out if I should change my air intake from stock box with a K&N to something more "agressive" First I think my car has the "mass airflow" system and not the "speed density" not quite sure. Need help with that. Once I figure that out, what would be the best bolt on replacement for the best price ?

BBK or MAC CAI. I have seen guys make there own(outta PVC pipe) and actually had colder intake air temps than with the aforementioned intakes.

Look for the mass air sensor, it's between the filter box and throttle body. I have a Mac intake, worked well so far. What year is your car? What other mods are on the car?

Many people will tell you that the stock airbox + K&N is just as good as an aftermarket CAI. It draws air in from the inner fender area just as a CAI does, and the plastic construction insulates heat better than the metal most CAI systems are made out of. Personally I would spend my money elsewhere.
