I have a CA V6 mustang with air injection for the exhaust I am planning to regester it in TX so I wont have to do emmisions on it. Can I toss out the horse power robbing weight adding air pump and its components and have my car run smoothly? What do I need a chip, o2 sensor imitators, extra pulley. I have mac shorties and true dual flowmasters, I want to put long tube headers and toss out the cat's. Would it sound meaner

I don't know what you would need to make it run smoother. But as far as the sound goes, yes, I think so. With long tubes and no cats it should sound louder, and probably more agressive.
