i had my steering realigned after hiting a curb a little while ago. (this wasnt my fault some idiot stopped in the middle of an intersection) but ever since i got my car back the air bag light has been on and the horn wont work.
i remember my spanish teacher telling us last year that his airbag got disconnected and it was going to cost him over $1000. what should i do about this? any suggestions or solutions?

Yeah, maybe they did not connect inside of the steering column.

I could suggest some suggestions but it is your cost.

First disconnect the batter and wait an hour or so! This is important! Don't skimp on this step.

Second look on the column behind your steering wheel! There will be two plugs that expose two nuts/bolts that hold the airbag on. 10mm if I remember correctly!

Remove these and the airbag will be loose, just remove it and look to see if it is connected. Just two wires. Then look at the horn wiring. It works off of a loop. Meaning when you push the horn in it makes a connection and makes the horn go. I messed mine up when I changed my steering wheel and when I started the cruise control the horn would honk. It was just an error on my part on the wires!

Or take it back to the shop and tell them to fix it!
