Airbag steering wheel ?

Im buying a 90 GT that has an airbag steering wheel i want to disable it and put a grant wheel on does anyone make a kit to do so?...and How do you disbale it so i can remove the airbag safetly,,,,thanks

Hit a wall going about 35mph...that should do it

pull the isr fuse and then you can disconnect it I believe. Not 100% sure though, I like my airbag

Not sure if there's a capacitor though, so you may want to disconnect the battery and turn the headlights on for a bit

i think you leave it sitting for a couple of hours before you remove it, or disconnect it from the battery...it might call for 30 min, but id leave it for a couple hours to be safe, airbag's deploy at 200mph...

At 200 mph it doesnt matter if the airbag deploys, you become canned meat.

I would prob disconnect the battery the night before and then go for it the next day.

These particular Ford airbags are VERY powerful. I would disable it too.

Cliff notes is that dude gets blown backwards out of the car. be careful when dealing with the air bag.

Damn... I've been thinking on ditching my airbag for a better looking steering wheel. After watching these vids, I'd definitely look for a tilt steering wheel, then.
