All I can say is WOW.

I love my Cobra. It will probably be some time before I again have a car that fast. Certainly the STI will never be as fast in a straight line. But in the twisties this car is unholy. And I haven't even gotten a chance to really exercise it. But the few times I've whipped it hard around a corner so far, I've just giggled. Never thought I'd own a car that could do such things.

I am planning on keeping the '95 for a while, to add a little spice. Totally different kinds of cars. This new toy may not have the rumble, but it has another fun sound effect -- whoosh! Even stock, you can hear it "breathing" as you drive around. Neat!

Maybe next time it'll be a Corvette, Patrick :). Just can't afford it at this time, after I get some other things paid off (couple of years) I may give that a try.

I was expecting an SVO, but nice choice. :D

I haven't experienced an STI yet but I've driven my friend's regular WRX a lot and I love that thing. Sticks to the road like glue, nice steering feel, and the boxer engine sounds pretty awesome with the right aftermarket exhaust. He's got the JDM STI exhaust on his which seems to be a lot louder than what comes on our US spec STI's... but I'm sure the catless up-pipe contributes to that too.

I read it. Sounds to me like its gone and the sig hasnt been updated.
I still have the Cobra -- I just worded it in the past tense because it's a foregone conclusion that it's going to a new home, and soon. Hopefully before the 8th of November :jester: (first payment on the STI).

How much was it Dave if you dont mind me asking? you cam pm me if you like and no im not trading in my cobra
Thanks Ed!

I don't mind sayng how much, you could probably make a good guess anyway (or just e-mail Royal Moore, they have two more :D). The total price for the car was $32,050, which is $15 over invoice. Then there was an extra couple hundred bucks in DMV registration & title fees. It's possible to get them for about $500 less if you work for Intel or Nike, and are willing to wait.
