I was just flipping through my massive file of Mustang pics and i got a little sentimental and decided WTF why not start a thread about what i think could be the baddest Mustang ever made! The one and only '69 Boss 429!

Oh yes...gobs of torque, tons of HP and nowhere to go with it Sure there are more powerful Mustangs today but not from a good old all motor big block

Anyone else hate where they went with the headlights in '70? Still awesome cars, but the '69's four headlights are the way to go.

Mach's are a dime a dozen compared to any Boss. Mach's were built on the Ford assembly line along with all the other Stangs. Boss 9's were hand built by Car Craft. Mach's had stock Ford powerplants. Boss 9's ran NASCAR hemi-head big blocks. The Boss 429 is undoubtedly the baddest factory Mustang ever offered. All engine. A real man's Mustang.

Yep And if you find a numbers matching Boss for less than $50 you've got a gold mine.

The 69 BOSS 429 in black is pure autosex. Screams out im a badass and ill eat you alive. The engines were severely underrated also.

I dunno. The 429 is such a....straight line machine? Nothing's wrong with that, but it's so damn heavy.

I love the '69 302. High reving, trans am machine. I also think that neither is the baddest Mustang ever made.

'65 GT 350 R model, B production racer?

and yes, that is the essex wire car.

The original GT 40's though....those are the baddest mama jama's every made by Ford in my opinion.

Yeah the GT40s were the King, but i can't even fit inside one so i'll never own one even if i were rich....it would be awesome to have one of those engines in a 'stang though! I also love the Boss 302s, this was more from an image perspective i think than all out performance.
