Ok Ive got a 67 coupe w/ a 302 and I plan on putting a bunch of aftermarket parts on her. Should I go w/ an MSD distributor and a higher amp alternator? If so which distributor and alternator?

I personally went with a MSD Billet (mechanical advance) and Powermaster 140 amp. Others will suggest Pertonix which is also a good choice. My distributor had about 300k miles on it so it was ready to get replaced. Depending on your Amp draw, you can go with a 100 amp alternator and save a few $$$.

I installed a DUI distributor. I beleive Summit sells them. Its easy to install with only two wires, one for ignition (+) and one for tach or one if you don't have a tach. It really cleans up the engine compartment. Alt needs to be 100 amp minimum and one wire hookup. Summit sells these as well.
