alternator question

It does look like a direct replacement using the factory wiring harness. However, the factory wiring harness is not capable of handling 140 amps, it was only made for the stock 95 amp alternator. This unit looks like it would be a bigger headache than just converting to a 3G. Not sure what you would do to up the wiring for that stock plug (2 orange/black wires and 1 white/black wire).

I'd PM the guy for more info if you're set on that.

Anthony's concern and advice is excellent.

Good luck.

the 3G is easy man...u just need a file( with some patience ) or a grinder... and the wireing instructions come with the alternator kit...I got my #g alt from PA performance, and the instalation took me 1 hour and man does that thing charge!!
