I want to upgrade my 75 amp alt. for a 130 amp alt. I own an 89 LX 5.0 and I want to know what year stang I can use for the swap. I heard that a 95 mustang alt. will work, is that correct?. Is there another year stang that I can use for the swap. Any suggetions is appreciated.
For the right way to do the wiring. Some people will tell you that you can skip the wiring upgrade, but it will catch up with you sooner or later. A fire in the wiring harness is ugly and expensive.
Check out www.paperformance.com ...they sell a warranted 3g alternator and the upgrade kit with everything you need (4g wire, 200 fuse, etc...)...and it works great on my car
