Okay my Alternator and voltage regulator both went bad on me a couple of days ago. Now I've been debating on doing a one wire set up. Is this hard at all to do and how exactly do I go about doing this?
For an 84, street driven, I would just put in new stuff from the parts store. I think yours still has the separate regulator. That stuff is fairly inexpensive and easy to change. I think the one wires need to be run up to a minimum rpm to begin charging. May work, but it's more trouble that it's worth to me.
