well my 18yr old alternator has finally quit charging in its time for a new one i was looking at some listings and i found 130 amp alternators that just use the original wireing what do you guys suggest? thanks

get a 3g unit. search on 3g and the instructions are there...

And don't reuse the original charge wiring. It was problematic even with stock alternators.

agreed 3g alt upgrade is the only way to go...night and day diff. Use the sticky thread, literally 30 min job.
