Aluminized Steel or not?

The guy at the exhuast shop says that i should not spend extra money ($1 per foot) on aluminized steel because rust is not too bad of a factor here in Southern Cali... is this true or should i be using aluminized steel vs. regular steel anyways?

Ask him about stainless steel. I think that is what most on here recommend.

Well, I had aluminized steel and it lasted maybe two years, but I live in Buffalo. Sooner or later, it will rot off your car.
