drill a hole in the stock DS and put some ATF in it and seal the hole back up

this will get rid of vibrations

but you might as well get an alumiun DS anyway

I would not suggest that...

I have seen someone do that with grease...but the bad part was he snapped it and slung grease all over the bottom of his truck and dented it up a bit...no they weren't related but it was still kind of funny to watch because he was driving "silly" anyways...

Anyways...do it right...if your going to do it

Yeah that kind of proves that you do gain some sort of power with the driveshaft. I know I didn't feel any performance difference at all...but I'm sure I knocked off 1/2 of a 1/2 of a tenth

they will have slop in them or make noise (when the needle bearings are busted up or corroded). you can grab the DS before and after the joint and twist turn (like trying to give the DS a rug burn) and see if you feel slop.

good luck.

It always seems to be the people that understand the least about the economy that make the most noise about it. Supply and demand son. Supply and demand. The reason the prices for this driveshaft went up is because people have money to spend on things like this. If our economy was so bad people would be spending their money on food and housing. Not high performance parts. Not to hard to figure out.
PS ... I bought the Aluminum driveshaft to reduce spinning weight, along with having new U-joints.
