I have a question regarding an aluminum driveshaft.

I have the mods listed below minus the gear (its not installed yet). I just ordered a Tremec tranny/bellhousing/clutch and pressure plate. I was curious if an Aluminum driveshaft is a must?? I know its a good idea hands down, but I was curious if it is a need or can it be done later down the road?

thanks in advance.

You don't ever HAVE to get one. It's a nice thing to have though....a lot stronger than the stock one too.

Yeah, it's not NEEDED, but it might be preferred, especially after the gears. As stated, It's twice as strong as the stock shafts and it's half the weight.

It will be more rewarding after the gears (because most likely you will have vibrations at higher speed after them), but even then it's not completely necessary.

Follow the crowd and get one I did it does smooth out the vibration at high speeds.
