Well I ordered one of these yesterday because of a vibration I had with the stock one. Anybody notice a SOTP difference with one of these. Doubt I will, but it never hurts to ask. :D :SNSign:

I also ordered a new quadrant/fwa. Are these a PITA to install?

No, not difference what so ever, but its a nice piece and will stop any vibration. mine runs smooth as silk ever since i put it in.

And its very easy with the exception of getting the old self adjuster thing out. what a pain in the arse, once i gout out and took a breather, i just took a drill, drilled 4-5 holes through it, one tap with a screwdriver and hammer and it was out just like that. It took me about an hour of getting very pissed and screwing with it other ways before i thought of that... :(

Here is an article by Jeremy Thompson which should be useful. :nice:

FWIW, installing the new quadrant is easy - it's removing the old one that's a pain.

Good luck.

On the Driveshaft make sure you line up the mark on the Driveshaft with the one on the Flange and it is VERY good practice to follow Fords recommendation of replacing the Driveshaft bolts!
