aluminum flywheel and t5 question

Hey guys i have a stock bottom end, ported E'7's, explorer intake, 3.73's, full exhaust and all the other normal bolt ons. I am having my stock t5 rebuilt by Bob Hanlon. My question is is it true that an aluminum flywheel may prolong the life of my t5?

Type and size of flywheel should not have a major impact on transmission life.
clutch tuning, style of shifting, weight of chassis, alignment of transmission, rear gears and "hook" as a whole and individually have more impact.

I know a person that blows t-56's like it' going out of style.
