i'm pulling out my t3650 to rebuild it on tuesday night. i was gonna put a new clutch in just b/c it will be right there. i wanted to get some opinions on what i should do. i was looking at the fidanza 2 pc. aluminum flywheel on ebay. and the spec stage 3 clutch. will i really notice a differance w/ the flywheel or is it a waste of $350? also how is the spec stage 3 clutch. right now i have mostly all the bolt ons and 3.90's. a KB 1.7 will be ordered at tax time. so i want a clutch that will hold up to that.

Less weight (usually 5 lb difference) = less rotating mass, quicker revs, definately worth it

You'll hear alot of people complaining about spec clutches, mcleod is the way to go

Very noticable. GET IT. My Rpm's drop so fast, I can shift gears w/o the clutch faster than with it.

right now the only place you can get a rebuild kit is from FORD. i was told by 3 different companys that at the first of 06 there will be lots of aftermarket rebuild kits out. thats when the patent runs out.
