I am looking to change the plugs in my 1993 Mustang 5.0 that has several motor modifications. The heads I have are Ford Racing Aluminum Heads ( FMS-6049-X307). The data sheets say to use agsf32c spark plugs but there is no mention of the gap that I should be using. I see many posts that say what you have in the motor would determine the best gap. Here are a few things that I have, the list is long so I will limit the items to fuel/ignition. Should I use the plugs they recommend? If so what should the gap be? Or change to a different plug?

Injectors: Ford Racing High Flow Injectors 30LB
Ford Racing Ignition Wires: 9MM
MSD 6420(6AL Ignition Box)
MSD 8227 Ignition Coil
MSD 8456 Distributor

Thanks

The stock gap is .052-.056.

The only reason to change the gap is because you have aftermarket ignition, NO2 or pressurized induction. The stock ignition is pretty good and will handle everything but NO2 or pressurized induction using the stock gap.

Stock gap is what i'd use assuming no Nitrous or forced induction

With the aftermarket ignition, you can try and open the gap up somewhat. Pretty much open it up a tad and see if you start getting misfiring.

I'd probably just set it at 0.056" and call it a day
