Am I losing my mind..what hood is this?

It looks close to the V6 hood, but the fake intake part looks deeper in the middle. Anyone seen this thing before?



I understand it's on a V6 in the picture, but it looks different for some reason.

You're right, that does look deeper. I've never seen it before, but it doesn't look too bad. I'll subscribe to this one because I'm curious about it too.

i'm sure that is the stock hood but the angle makes it look different. i do see what you're saying though. in 1999 i was looking at 99 cobra hoods and i could have sworn from pictures that one was a reverse cowl (as it really is) and a little bump-cowl (somehow i thought it went UP instead of DOWN)

i think the angle is messing you guys up. looks like a standard hood to me

I guess I like that hood more than I thought then! It probably is the angle that is throwing me off.

looks almost like my 03 GT hood when the scoop was off... but they cut the hole out and dressed it up...?

But the inset does seem deeper, like a BIG center scoop on those fugly Mach 3 hoods

I think its the standard hood also. I was out at my buddies shop today and he has a white 01 out there he's working on and I think its just the color white that makes the lines look sharper and deeper.
