Amsoil New MTF for Synchromesh Trans.

I read this quote to mean that the AMSOIL will not harm the focus tranny. I wouldn't put the AMSOIL in the 3650 based on that quote.
Read it again Carefully. They suggest for the Focus, Synthetic Manual fluid. Amsoil's 0W-30 Synthetic ATF is DEXRON III / MERCON compatable!

Exactly. that was a typo.
Sorry about that! Just wanted to make sure, we are all on the same page.

Dave...

Amsoil KEEP AWAY FROM AMSOIL! It's nothing but overpriced crap!

Wow. That is the first time I think i've ever heard anybody say that about Amsoil products. Care to back that up with some credible facts? Sounds to me like this guy is just trying to start a urinary olympics. Fact is there isn't anything on the market as good as Amsoil, with the exception of Royal Purple, maybe, and thats a big maybe.

On the Royal Purple topic, they claimed in their ads to be better than Amsoil. Amsoil took them to court, and won.

Slowww 97

You can smack AMSoil all you want until YOU learn the facts of this amazing SYNTHETIC oil. Care to argue the benefits of FilterMag? Their photos are quite conservative of what gets trapped via their magnet. What if I was using something else??

No thanks. That's what you're here for. :owned:

ATF in a manual, that's interesting.

Glad to see you've finally crawled out from under that rock and found out that Ford recommends ATF in the T-3650. Ford has been specifying ATF for about 4 years.

The same discussion has been going on here on Stangnet for at least 3 years (4.6 Tech). It all started in February 2001 when Ford first switched to the T-3650s in Mustang GTs and a few months later issued a TSB that said to use ATF in the T-3650 to improve shifting, especialy when cold.

Since you're so good at reading stuff, you can read that I've only been a member on Stangnet for a few months. This is also my first Ford.

And I apologize for not reading my Owners Manual cover to cover before posting on here, as well as not catching up Ford fluid recommendations for the past 3 or 4 years, as well as going back and ready 4 years worth of posts. I'm SOOO sorry.

Do me a favor, why don't you go read your owners manual, or quote some 4 year old posts, and get off my back? While you're at it:
