I had vibration troubles that ended up being the harmonic balancer. While hunting for the cause I found the trans had a broken spring in the 1-2 accumalator. I put in a Transgo shift kit and replaced the torque convertor; because of the famous Ford 3-4 shudder. I used the merc V whcih I found out is wrong for the 94-95, so I switched back to the lll.
Now my problems really begin. The trans has a great 1-2 shift but will not go past second gear now. I pulled the valve body back out and double checked the installation it is according to the instructions. The trouble code is the no signal from the trans control switch. I replaced the switch and still can not get it to shift manual or automatic.
Any help or suggestions will help my sanity and keep me from shooting my horse.
