I just bought a CCRM for my '94 Mustang Gt. I actually just sent the money today and have not received it yet but I already have a question. I was told by the person I bought it from that it worked on his '95. I just want to clarify that it is compatible before I install it. The part # is: F4ZF-12B577-AA.

Thanks

I bought a used one from a '95 and the part number was F6SF-12B577-AA.

it works fine. But the number wasnt the same as the one on my car. But it was pretty much the same.

It is a black box behind the tadiator next to the overflow that contains relays controlling fan operation and I think starting and other stuff. If it goes bad, your fuel pump may not engage, fans may not work, etc..

To add..I wonder why Ford placed it near all that heat up front?

Are we sure it's F4ZF?

This is the one that I have bought. I just sent the payment today, so I don't have it yet. It is the newer looking one.

I thought that CCRM was for a 3.8L but I'm not sure (nor do I know if it is the same part for GT's and V6's). Just try to ascertain for sure that it will work because some CCRM's will bolt-up but a few pins are off. That could cause some obvious issues.

That post was not to misinform you (because I'm not sure on that part #) or scare you - I only said it as a recommendation to ensure it will work for ya. We dont want you to fry anything.

If it does work, please shoot me a PM. I keep a loose list of CCRM's that work.

Good luck.

hey, when i bought it the guy said it was from a 95gt. but the part numbers are different then my stock noe. i dont know if that may be fords new version? i bought it because i was having fan problems (high speed wasnt working) and after installing it and testing some more i still had the same problem. so i swapped back to the stocker figuring it would be easier to sell this one since it looks almost new. i found my high speed fan problem to be some sort of wiring problem and ended up buying a stand alone elect fan controller.

the F4ZZ-12B577-A CCRM/ICM was replaced by the F6SZ-12B577-AA so they are one in the same. now the F48F & F6SF #'s you all are posting are just stamping #'s and not part #. after looking at the pic the one wth the F4ZF is for a 3.8 V6 Mustang and not for the 5.0

I was just checking because after we made a deal, I thought I noticed a post where your car is an auto and I didn't know if that made a difference.

I just did the exact same swap today. the one on the left(f4zf12b577aa) came out of a 95 3.8 liter mustang and the one on the right(f48f12b577aa) was my stock ccrm in my 94 mustang gt..the v6 module worked perfect in my 94(i fried mine by accident,i could smell it the minute i unhooked it!)
