Another Clutch Cable Problem

Talk to MM. You should not need a spacer (in effect, making your FWA 'longer'). Something isn't right on your car and they might have some ideas.

Its not the car. It has new flywheel,clutch,TOB,fork,steel retainer,new tranny.

Is it a stock replacement fork?

I'm thinking it's your quad. Not all aftermarket clutch quadrants are made with the same dimensions. It might be allowing for too much slack - more than your FWA can allow you to dial out. Maybe look into getting a different quad from Maximum Motorsports, or UPR.

Since it's a kit, that should be the most optimal quadrant there is for that cable.

It is a dorman fork,oreilly fly and clutch,also the best TOB they have and a steel bearing retainer from Hanlon Ms.

How did the fork compare to the stocker when held side by side?

I bought the Ford kit for $50 that comes with the cable and a new clutch fork.

Granted, i've onl driven 600 miles on it though...
