but if i do.. i want to buy an early-mid 90's car to hot rod the hell out of

i was thinking about an early 90s lincoln lsc, but the only thing holding me back from that is the air bag suspension.

it has the 5.0 litre motor, and would be sweet with a vortech and some motor work.

im leaning away from a fox mustang because i already have a stang... i want something more of a sleeper hot rod... something no one would really expect. I was even thinking of doing an import project because i have so much ****in room in my upstate garage.

lets hear some ideas. try to keep it realistic?

I work at a lincoln dealership, and its basically a routine that after setting up the lift arms under the mounting points to open the trunk and flip the switch to shut off the air suspension, but I have seen a couple, not many, cars that didnt have an air suspension set up. I really dont remember what year, but I think it was probably a town car. I suppose you could change it over from the air suspension if you were fixed on it though.

Its not a bad idea really. A nice lincoln would be great for long distance with the plush seats and the space available inside. Plus there are a ton of them out there you could get pretty cheap. I havent seen alot of LSC's come through the shop though..

yeah, i mean i like the fact that it can be an every day car, but with major balls. plush, and a sleeper. im sure you can convert it to coil suspension but it would take some money

Reason i chose the LSC also is because i saw one at a meet last weekend- thing looked completely stock but with a vortech whistle! i love it
