Okay, I've looked all over the place and gotten all the information I've been able to find on this. Unfortunately, alot of it is conflicting. Even on Kenne Bell's own directions!
I have a schematic that shows to cut the Brown/Pink wire and then a suppliment page thsat says to cut the Pink/Black wire WTF!!!

Then I have another source that says to solder the non-fused (output) wire to the plug side and 2 sources that say the fused wire goes on the plug side. WTF again!

Help! My project (2 hours? HA!) is now stalled.

I am assuming the model year is a 2002. There is a difference in fuel pump wiring between the 96-98 and 99-04 MY.

I do not have a KB unit so don't have the instructions to refer to. Do you have an electronic version or scanned images?

Diagram-24-8 shows the fuel pump and FPDM models and the various wire colors and how they interconnect.

FWIIW, it seems plausible that both the main +12 supply wire (PK/BK) as well as the direct to fuel pump wires RD/BK and BN/PK are needed for the BAP to do it's intended function.

But there's only 2 red wires. Input (fused) and output (non fused) , so it can only cut into 1 hot wire.
