UPR makes an adjustable lower control arm that is half the price of the MM and the Steeda piece. Does anyone have any experience with those. I have a feeling that you pretty much get what you pay for. I just hate the thought of spending $400 for a set of lower control arms.

You do get what you pay for. There is a reason that so many people use MM products. I do.

MM all the way. They are probally one of the best suspension places out there.

Well if your desire is drag racing, I'll go against the grain and vote for UPR, especially at the price. Their suspension kits are awesome, and are used by the fastest cars out here. Nothing wrong with MM and Steeda stuff...but take a look at some of the fastest cars...you'll see UPR.
(OK, I know, I know, I have Steeda LCAs and MM subframe connectors on my 02...just shows I'm not just voting for the brands I've already bought).
FACT: UPR Pro-Series Suspension is used on more winning FFW, NMRA and WFC cars than all their competitors combined. Guys, that's hard to argue with. I wouldn't hesitate to by UPR. In fact, if I had not rec'd my Steeda LCAs for nearly nothing, I had planned on UPR. (For road racing, auto X, etc - MM and Steeda have better packages, agreed).

twogts4us is correct, you need to be more specific on what the aim is for your upgrades.

you have to look at the bushing desing on the arms. the cheaper arms use cheaper bushings. MM is also a bit pricey but they make nice stuff.

If you look at a company like maximum motorports for example they are more performace oriented so they run more expensive parts.

go price a nice spherical bearing and then a cheap urathane bushing. tell me which cost more. so not all of the cost is just them gouging you.

drag only cars you don't have to worry about suspention bind so you can run cheaper bushings. now if you like the corners the UPR's will suck. you may not know any better if you don't run anything better but the MM arms are just awesome compared to every other arm I have run. no bind, no overly stiff sliding car.
