Finding your gear size

One way to find out your gear size if to jack up the
rear of the car so both rear wheels are not touching the
ground place a mark on the tire, since you will be rotating
the tire one time. When you rotate the tire once count
the time the drive shaft spins. If it spins less than
3 times you have 2.73's if it spins just over 3 you have
3.08's ..... 3.27..... 3.55......3.73.......4.11s.
 
the gears may have been changed by a previous owner, since it takes all of about 1 minute to jack it up, mark the driveshaft and turn a wheel one time while counting to no more than 5, I would do that, its how I found mine already had gears...

agreed. we dont change door tags after gear swaps. :)
