Well I found some time to do some interior work on the stang this past weekend. Put the new carpet in, Bullet pedals, seats and an RSD. Pretty happy with the way it turned out, just going to make a few changes to the RSD and be done with it. Here are a couple of pics.

Yeah the new carpet made a world of difference. I didnt realize how faded the original carpet was. Now the interior is so clean Im afraid to sit in it. I actually went out and bought a portable dust buster just to vacum up after Im done driving it. Even though I only drive it once or twice a week.

How well did that carpet fit and where did you get it?

I need to swap over to black carpet but I have always heard that replacement carpet does not fit well. So I was going to dye mine.

Did it fit right or did you have to mess with it to get it right?

The fit was fine. It takes a little time to cut all the holes for the seat bolts and and seat belts and misc. but other than that, its relatively a no brainer.

the 50resto carpet fit freakin great, man. i got the one w/ the jute backing and it was pre-molded--convenient!

you do have to cut out the holes for the seat bolts, etc, but it's not a big deal at all. just start w/ small holes and cut more material as you need to. it's easer to start small and clip off little by little than to cut too much the first time and F it up.

my favorite thing about the new carpet: the musty feeling in my interior was gone! switching from the stock cloth seats to the leather probably helped a lot, too, but all in all, new upholstry is really worth the money... to me, anyway.

looks great. do you like the suede seats? i'm thinking that is what i want to get for seats when the time comes for them to be redone.

note to self: 50resto carpet is good. i'll be doing that too before long.

I love the micro-suede on the seats. I had already made up my mind on the suede before I even decided on what style seat I was going to get. I ended upp going with these cause I didnt really want an all out race seat in the vert. Just didnt think it would look to good.

Hows the microfiber on the corbeaus...I am considering getting the TRS in microfiber. My forza is getting worn out from years and years of street use....leatherette HIGH WEAR patches are worn out/torn and the black is sun faded. Pluss i put a cigarrette burn in it . But yea 3 years of street use out of a seat not meant for it isnt too bad.
