Another question....

I am in the process of installing this digital 7 with boost control and have a question as to where I should hook up the Map sensor so that it reads the intake pressure correctly. I have a fitting on the blower discharge tube or there is a couple of fittings on the carb. (Berry Grant). The fittings on the carb are either ported or constant vaccm???I also could use the larger fitting on the back of the intake I guess.....Obviously I am confussed.

I would not use the blower discharge. With the map not seeing vacuum you will not be able to have more advance at cruise. I used the small fitting at the passenger side front of the baseplate. The large on at the back is fine too. It will take an adapter though. I use small black zipties to help secure them.

You have a great point and I'm glad you responded as I was hooking it up to the blower tube. My Demon has two ports side by side, one is Timed vac. and the other is onstant Vac. Any I dea which yours is conected to? I have the boost gauge, the Digital 7 and the Fuel pressure regulator all needing a boost hook up so I just want to do this one time. I had the Gauge connected to the dicharge tube but it never really moved much so I am going to move it also.

The regulator needs to be before the carb.
The MAP needs to see vacuum and boost, the ported will not work.
If your gauge is straight boost put it before the carb. If it is vac/bst, put it to the same place as the MAP.
