yes I have searched and read alot, just a couple of ?'s I want to lower my car 1-1.5 inches. From what I have read people are most happy with the H&Rs. But the Eibach pro kit is progressive rate, so wouldnt this make the daily drive a better ride, and still perform in the twisties? Also, not sure but read somewhere I think ford C springs are Progressive in the rear and a set rate up front? and they are alot cheaper.
I probably wont get new shocks untill about christmas, will this cause a problem? What shocks are the best for the money to run with these kits? And lastly, Will I be able to get by without CC plates with only a small drop? I know I asked several questions but thanks for any help

I went with the Pro and got away w/o using cc plates. I am using my stock struts/shocks for now with no problem, as for whats best go with Tokiko but everyone has a different opinion on this. Good luck

any problem with the 1.5inch drop if you are running long tubes?

The reason I ask is because I am looking at getting C springs, but don't wanna drop too low and scrape everywhere...

got any insight?

By the way, thanks for the post b/c I was about to start the exact same thread

EDIT:

How does the drp affect the steering geometry? I know too severe a drop and bump steer and some other issues arise without proper correction kits!!!

dont think there are any geometry problems unless going like 2 inches or lower. I knew a another guy with a mystic that had BBK long tubes and a drop, not sure which one, but he always had an exhaust leak b/c he would drag them. He didnt take the best care of his car though, so Im sure if you are careful where/how you take dips and speed bumps you will be okay.

I am very careful with my car... so I guess I will be okay if I am careful.

That's what the guys told me in the shop, so it is good to know they weren't lying!!!

I’m running long tubes with an H&R drop and I live in Chicago. I haven't scraped yet, as I am always very tentative of the road. I really like H&R springs and would definitely recommend them. They give you a nice raked look with the 1.6 inch drop up front. But you can't go wrong with the pro kit either, both would be good choices.

the stock shocks/struts will do fine with the pro-kit, the max spring rate isn't too off with the stock set.

good luck, if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
