Right now I have 17x8s on the front and 17x9s rear. The tires I am looking at getting are 255/50s for the front and 275/50s for the rear. The problem is that the front tires will be 27.03 tall and 27.88 on the rear. Will this be a problem with the traction control or the ABS?

Not sure about the traction control as I dont have a 2005 or 2006 yet, but the ABS should be fine as it doesnt really care how different the rotation is, just that it can keep the brakes from locking up. On the traction control it will have room to fudge the numbers a little and to my understanding it takes the front and rear numbers seperately to determine traction, and not front to rears. I would think it wouldnt throw an error or anything with the difference or reset to compensate for the difference. It's not like they are too different in size anyways, but I'll leave the confirmationt o someone who has actually already done the change. Hopefully they can shed some light on the issue. I have used similar tire sizes, but not on a Mustang that had traction control.

Try a 255/55 on the front, or a 275/45 on the rear. Should put you closer.

Yes, too much difference can screw with the ABS.

Thats the thing right now i have 245/45 on the front with 274/40s rear and they are loud and rough. Wanting to go taller and they dont make a 275/45 just 50s

Ok, try 275/50 and 255/45 then. If you drop 5% aspect ration in the front, it should put you close.
