I've searched and searched.... and then I searched some more.
I cannot seem to get a straight answer ... maybe because there isn't one and nobody really knows... but here goes.

If running AFR 185 stud mount heads, what rockers are needed to fit under stock valve covers, and if there aren't any, which covers are needed?
I know either some Comp Cams or some FMS 1.6's would be best (thinnest?)... but still am not clear on what valve covers are needed.

I've read alot on the fox valve covers, but what exactly is the modding required on those?

had the same problem and i run afr 205's. stock wont work. i run the edelbrock tall covers and yes the clear and you have room for the intake. just have to move the oil fill to the left side. basically just get a 5 dollar oil cap from advance that slides in the rubber grommet and block the passenger side off at the back if the intake has a spot for the pvc and if not use the valve cover hole in the back for the pvc

so what you're saying is move the filler to the drivers side hole.... and plug the passenger side. My intake (cobra) does have PCV so I won't be needing a breather... yet. i might upgrade to an edelbrock rpm intake at some point... but then i might need a 3/8th spacer? does anybody know if that's the case? i won't be running a STB and it should clear my heat extractor hood.
i just don't want to build my new motor, and finally drop it in and find out it doesn't fit. :)

If you have the stock hood, the rpm upper just touches the blanket.

I don't know it you could run the spacer but if so, the blanket would have to go or be modified.
