Anyone know a trick to programming a new remote control box for my door locks? I tried like the owners manual says with the ignition switch being turned on and off 8 times and left in the on position on the 8th time, It doesn't seem to be working right. Oh yeah forgot usefull info, it's an 05 GT.

I did a remote panel on my door by using the instructions. No problem. I'd try again. If that doesn't work, could be the remote is messed up. I'd try again and if it doesn't work talk to my service guy at my Ford dealer.

Remote control box? Are you talking about programming the key fob?

If so, just do it like the owner's manual says. Also do not have your foot on the brake pedal.

Tried it again like the manual said, still didn't work today either. I wasn't sure what to call it, I meant the remote keyless entry or that little black box with the buttons that hangs from my keychain. Any way thanks for the assistance, guess I'll have to suck it up and eat it at the ford dealer.

Okay, okay, this is a little far out. Make sure you have a working battery inside the remote.

I'm just not getting the signal by the car that it's in the program mode.

Went to the ford dealer today (Town and Country) in B'ham they were unable to program the system, they said it may have something to do with the Roush PCM program.
