great, so my diagram was correct!!!!! all i need to do is tap into one red/black wire, so their is no +/- concern cause i will be using a single off/on toggle...
so is length of my wirng job gonna have any effect/negative or positive...i want to use a little wire as possible to make it less noticeable but if i dunno. i know this is a very basic project, but i get nervous when wiring and riggin things especially around the fuel pump.....

Wire it like my diagram and the lenght of the wire isn't a problem. Use 18 gauge wire and a light duty switch to make it cheap and easy to run the wire and hide the switch.

thanks, you have been more than helpful, but how is you diagram different to mine....your has way for stuff....but mine is the same thing
relay==red/black====switch=red/black=====

also with this switch when set in off. the car should still spin over correct?
