I have a 96GT convertible I installed ford c springs and the front it way to low, My k-member bottoms out everywhere, when I hit a bump going down the road my tires go up in my fenders so far they hit the the inner fenders and smoke will come off the tires. I had c springs on my old 95GT convertible and the front was no where near this low, does the 4.6 wiegh that much more or what. My car is almost not drivable. Does anyone else have this problem. Thanks

On my 97 vert we nad "C" springs and Tokiko 5 way and it was super low but wouldn't bottom out driving down the road. Did you take out the rubber inserts on top and bottom of the springs before installing, could be a problem if did. If you didn't look into getting stiffer shocks/ struts that may?? help. Good luck

I have c springs in my 98 vert and yeah, i bottom out a lot, mostly right in the middle on the k member. If I drive slow over speed bumps and ups-and-downs in the road then its not a problem. However, dirt roads around my house, lets just say its not pretty if i am going more than 5 mph
