I have a friend who sells 2 brand new FRONT Eibach Drag springs. Usually, when you buy the kit, it comes with 4 springs. So now, I'd only be running the front Eibach drag springs.

Would I see some gain or do I REALLY need the full kit with the rear springs to notice something ?

The guy is selling the set for 75$.He says that 1/2a coil has been cut on each

BTW, I already have Lakewood 70/30 struts in front, subframes connectors, upper and lower control arms, if that can help the advice.

Thanks

The stock rear springs are pretty good as far as drag type springs go, but the fronts could use some help. Putting the Eibach fronts in will surely help.

They'll help you. If you don't have the rears it will still help but you won't be able to plant the tires evenly. I've found the Eibach rears aren't very effective anyway. I ran the Eibach fronts with stock rears for quite a while but I also had a rear anti-roll bar to plant the tires evenly.

Am I planting the wheels at the rear evenly right now with my all around stock springs ?
Or is this problem starting when you have only front drag springs ?

It probably isn't transferring weight much at all currently. When you start really hooking, you'll notice the car wanting to lift the driver's side front tire first. You can see it at any drag strip. A car leaving the line with the just the driver's side front tire in the air. A car that does that is not planting the tires evenly and to get the 60' times down will have to get that under control. That's where anti-roll bars come in or like the rear Eibach kit puts more spring and an adjustable air bag in the pass. side rear to try to counteract it. Some guys have decent luck with that type of setup. I never saw much benefit from the Eibach rear setup when I used it.

How are those drag springs acting on the street ?
The guy says that 1/2 a coil has been cut, would you still think I should get them ?

Thanks for your help.

I ran mine on the street with 1/2 coil cut and 90/10 drag struts. They're fine just gotta know there are limitations to what it'll do in the corners. With 70/30s it should be pretty streetable.
