whats up there fellow nj stanger. got a question, your 3.73 gears, how do you like them. was the change a hugh difference. how is it on the highway. let me know. my ride is tucked away for winter as well. 96 gt, 5 speed ,volant cai,jet chip, soon to have magnaflow c/xpipe, borla cat-back, hopefully 3.73 gears. thanks for any info.Dreams2Reality said:I'm from toms river, lived here my whole life. i plan on it, already called larrocos. they said 275.00 to 300.00 if i already have the gears. thanks for the info.Dreams2Reality said:n.j.gt-- I love my 3:73s. I did notice a difference at first but it was after i drove a stock 03 gt with stock gears and then went back to driving my car that i noticed the biggest difference. Honestly the highway isn't a problem. I did a lot of parkway and turnpike driving last summer and at 65 mph the car was right at 2000 rpm. There is more pull in 5th and the gears make it nicer for dropping into third when doing 65 and blowin past people. 3:73s made the car more fun, especially when cruisin and racing others, get them whenever u get ur car back on the road.
