I've got a 96' GT 5spd with K&N intake, o/r h-pipe (leaking at the headers currently) flowmaster catback and 18" cobra r-'s with 245/40 toyo proxes on them. 2nd gear syncro is kinda bad so i usually take a bit of time shifting. Anyways, any guesses before I get back? Anyone with similar mods run the 1/8th?

You ran 9.3 with a gear, pulleys and good working syncros. How could he run 9.5 or better?

I run 9.7 stock on my '03 on streets.. I'd imagine it would be somewhere between 9.5 and 10 if you can manage second gear.

9.871 was my best. 60ft times were horrible. The track was notorious for having very little grip since its almost brand new, that and my autozone rear tires that are almost bald left me spinning WAY too much. Didn't have time to switch my toyo proxes to the back, but hopefully i'll have some nice tires in the back by the next time i go.

Went back to the track today, HUGE improvement with my 60 foot times. Ran a 9.617 as my lowest, with a few other 9.6's and 9.7's along with it.

man it is painful to see those times. my first stang ran 9.9 10.0. and it had a 200 I6 !!!,2.73 gears 3 speed, 218 cam, headers, duals. doh. i forget how slow this sled was. sorry dude. i hope you are at 7000 ft 99 degrees, 99% humidity, 27.99 pressure. i love this body, but ford did it wrong with that kind of power. no offense, i used to be that slow. dude slap 4.56 and drag radials on it. really i am not trying to bad mouth your car. 9.0 or better is respectable, and will get you a stock auto LT... maybe.

Youre track must not be such a bad track after all if you can run 9.5's on it with what you have. Maybe my track is just hellacious (SP)

I don't find any certain time any more "respectable" than another. To me a respectable time is a good time for the car you are running, not some generic #. I could care less if I was driving a stock dodge neon and ran a 9.9, because that would be ****ing amazing considering the POS car it is. I don't care too much for drag radials either. I'd rather have a car that got good times based on what it could actually do on the streets with actual power, not what kind of tires it was running.

Anyways, I don't go to the track here to gain the "respect" of any of these inbred hicks out here, I go for fun in my car that I know isn't fast, and I do exactly that.
