Any HP/TQ gain from a ported lower IM?

I currently run the Tmoss ported lower on stock motor. It's a great, cheap upgrade to start with. I definately felt a nice difference in the upper RPM's with it when normally, the unported lower would fall on its face. I recently picked up a Cobra upper/lower combo and will someday have Tmoss port it. The stock ported lower works great if you wanna keep it stock and simple, but you'll probably get like me and someday want more.

I didn't exactly answer your questions so here goes

1. With your mods right now, yes its worth it. Especially if your keeping the stock heads. Any plans for better heads? If so, then don't go with it.

2. For the $$ he charges, most definately worth it. IMO, from factory the lowers should've been this size. The exhaust ports are mainly where the restriction is.

You can really ask him for his opinion (www.tmossporting.com) The TMOSS ported intake will flow up to or around 200CFM. This is a hair less than an unported cobra intake. It should work very well with a set of ported stock E7's, GT40 heads and or some Edelbrock heads.

Is it worth it? Yes, - but decide what you are planning on doing with your heads first. You don't want to have to do double work

Anything over ~190cfm should jump from ported stock intake to a GT40 style intake or a Performer -and if you believe the advertised flow numbers some head suppliers give, your gonna be dissapointed if you get them flow tested.
