found a local that has a t-5 out of an 88 mustang 2.3L any one got a clue if this will fit in a 67 and if the shifter location is the same? I am going to do the g-force kit so I am not worried about the internals strength unless there are other concerns.

Thanks
GZ

AFAIK the external dimensions are identical to the V8 version.

External dimensions are the same, but the first gear ratio is REALLY tall, something like 3.35. I dont know for sure, but the input shaft may be different than the 5.0. I've heard of quite a few 5.0 guys simply swapping in a 4-cyl T-5, so I may be wrong.

thanks for the info, I am usingthe Gforce kit so the input shaft and gears will be replaced. No worries on that.

$100 a good price for the transmission?

Yeah, as long it doesnt need much more than synchros. I dont know how many original parts the G-Force uses. The cases are all the same, though.
