Any of you guys get wheel hop when hitting 2nd gear

I'm getting wheel hop when I hit 2nd gear with my drag radials heated up good. The car never did it before, until I got my lakewood struts, subframe connectors, and 31 spline rear end. Now it does it.

I have upper and lower control arms on backorder from x2c. I hope they solve the 2nd gear wheel hop problem.

The upper and lowers should solve the problem. Those struts are suppose to be very good at putting the weight to the rear wheels. So the upper and lowers will keep the power to the ground.

Sounds like the LCA's sound fix that problem. I see your getting the x2c's. I don't know personally but I remember seeing a post on here saying that those LCA's didnt drop times at all, but they may help you in your situation and may take time off your slip. If you stay with that choice and put on but a post up to tell people hey they are and the difficulty of putting them on. It's always good to hear about LCA's

The post you saw about x2c lca's and them not dropping et's was probaly about there old control arms. x2c redesigned there uppers and lowers and they are made in house. They had a quality problem back when the fist batch was made.

like I said in the other thread, try and replace the quad shocks. My friend has both UCA's and LCAs, it still would wheel hop. He replaced the quads and problem gone. They were so shot you could push them in your hands.

Damn, good quad shocks go bad so quick. 9,700 miles on the car. If its a quad shocks problem which it might be. Koni and Bilstein make them for our cars. Is it ok to go ahead and get theres. I don't want to hurt the drag strip performance of my car only help it.

nah, no reason to pay that much for them. KYB's do just as good.
