Any one ever used the cruse control from a granada on ther classic car?

I am in the process of parting out a 78 Granada and got to looking at the cruse control parts. Seams straight forward enough and if I can make it work I will put it on my 62 Galaxie. Any one have any info on such a swap.

why go through the hassle of trying to adapt the granada cruise control to your galaxie, when you can get an aftermarket system that will work just as well, and be easier to install, and less hassle dealing with swapping the steering column.

the swap can be done though, but the aftermarket system is easier.

I am thinking of using the Granada parts because I have them as far a switching out the column that would be a major pain. If I do it I will relocate the switches elsewhere.
