I have a 1988 5.0 GT I am planning on a mass air conversion some one told me if I swap in a harness out of a mass air car I was told my fuel pump will not turn on any one now about this thanks people
There is a bit of wiring that needs to be done for the FP diagnostics monitor on MAF swap cars, as I recall. But that's about it.
And if you use a harness out of a late 92 or 93 car (where the FP relay moved away from under the seat and to the fender), that might create an issue (though I'm not sure). Jrichker recently helped someone rewire their FP circuit when this person ended up with both FP relay sockets. It was not a big deal.
