20,000 and it's not over yet.

I'm also hoping the hood isn't latched, because looks like quite a gap.

I haven't seen too many fox saleens go this high, other than the SSC's.

It is beautiful. A bit out of my price range. Would love to hear what the other members on the board say that would know more on the topic.

1). The hood isn't latched hence the gap. Good eyes
2). Like the seller said in the description, only 17 1992 Saleen's were produced. This fact makes ANY 92 Saleen more valuable then most other foxbody Saleen's.
3). The mileage and the condition add's even more value. That car never got driven, period. Original, Original, Original. Although, according to The Saleen Book by Brad Bowling, 4 of the 5 verts that year were factor supercharged. Just for verification, it is a real car #15 original owner was Dave Ragsdale in California. Ship date was 08/10/92. Factory options included the blower, 3.55 gears, CD, Radar with the white top. Gotta love the Saleen Book. If you don't have one and are every in the market for a saleen, it is a must have.......
4) last but not least, its white What more could you ask for

Bobby summed it up.

For a fox body nut, a clean, low mileage vert from Saleen's darkest year ever is like the brass ring.

Off subject. Back when most of you guys were still in Jr. High, I had just scraped together enough dough to pick up my 1989 Saleen, 89-0028. It was April, 1991. Man, it was like nothing else out there. We didn't even know about mods except for gears, bumping the timing by eyeballing it and removing the airbox snorkel. Remember Mike?

I was already spending extra money I didn't have on extras, even though there were few around, but a very cool cat named Stan Berry was Steve's loyal parts guy back then in Long Beach. Since I lived so close, sometimes I would just venture over on a Fri. afternoon to see what was happening. Saleen Performance Parts consisted of a small 500-600 sqaure foot showroom with little in it except for some suspension parts mounted and painted on display on top of a concrete pillar with re-bar showing. Boy, you were in heaven if you could just hang out with a 1991-92 Parts catalog in hand.
Stan would let me go back and look and watch. They only had 3 or 4 cars being assembled at a time, but it was still the neatest thing. I remember the verts getting superchargers and it was a BIG deal, believe me. I could be mistaken, but if there was only one white vert for 1992, I remember that car there. Those white 17' wheels were so exotic. Of course, my 89 is still with me, leaving for a while, but made it's way back home.

Sorry for the ramble. 17 total cars produced, other than the first years, and the fact that Steve and Liz were holding the bag themselves, and trying to keep the parts together was a brutal time for Saleen. I was there, and remember it well. That is why some idiot like me would spend upwards of 25k for that car, even more. It needs little to be perfect.

Cheers.

OJ isn't a murderer, he was found innocent in the great CA court system....
Remember, if the glove don't fit..........
Besides, who really wants a black Saleen anyways

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't a white S351 speedster get completely sideways and come less then a foot from hitting your purple (excuse me, Violet) convertible last year in the parking lot outside of BJ's in Lake Forest, after the Saleen Show before the cruise up the coast on PCH when you made a trip out from Arizona in September???????????????
Or was that some other purple( I mean Violet) Budget Saleen numbered 07B of 30 produced. So you can take back your cause you just got DOWN!!!!

Besides, with Marcus and Dave G there, there were not 1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR white S351 "R" code Saleens at that show..... Don't you just hate it when you get

I just bought another Saleen. An 03 S281 SC. I couldn't resist. Its on the back burner till the 99 is done. I've been selling off race parts for the past few weeks along with trying to sell both Cobras.
