Hello Vermonter . I am currently living in Mass but my wife and I plan on moving to Vermont before Fall. Actually my wife moves up tomorrow to start a new job on Tuesday and after her 90 day probationary period I'll be looking to join her myself. Don't want to leave my good job down here until she has her job for sure .
With that said...I've been comming up to Vermont for 5 years now because that's where my wife is from and all her family lives there still. Her family is in the Waterbury area, but she used to live in Rochester. Her job is in Essex Junction and we hope to be living in Middlebury . I also over the years have asked about Vermont Stangers and where they meet up but I don't have to tell you that Vermont is mostly Chevy country . I am in an awesome late model Stang club down here called NEBOC (New England Blue Oval Club) www.neboc.org we are changing servers right now so our site is down but our forums are hosted by a friend Tony who owns www.mcrparts.com This place is an awesome place to get great deals on all sorts of goodies for antique-late model Mustang restoration . Once again I plan on starting a Vermont chapter of NEBOC for all us Mustang lovers who live or will be living (me) in Vermont. I only know of a couple of Vermont Stang owners in the Hancock, Rochester area but I'm sure there are more out there. I have a Sunburst Gold Metallic 2000 GT. MA plates "RUZMAN" . Maybe you have seen me on the highway in Vermont or around the towns. Not too many Sunburst Gold Mustangs around and especially not in Vermont so if you've seen one with Ma plates and it was a GT it was me . My name is David and like I said I hope to be up living in Vermont by the end of the summer so keep your eyes open and spread the word that we need to start a brother and sisterhood of Stangs in Vermont. In the meantime check us out by going to the MCRparts website and using the Mustang Forums link then scroll down to NEBOC Members Forum. If anyone hassles you..which I doubt they will, just tell them Ruz refered you . I only say this because we only allow members to post but you can read all you want and if you wish ask Carol (awwyeah) or Joe (Dark Cobra) club co-presidents if you'd like to post a hello or ask a question. I'm sure they'd be happy to hear from you. Best of luck with your Stang and I hope to meet up with you sometime in the near future when I'm up in Vermont. I'll probably be up next around Father's Day weekend. I have to bring my stepson up to his Father for the summer on the 16th of June and then I'll be heading home on the 17th Father's Day and my Birthday . I'll check for a reply to see if you're going to be around that weekend and like I said maybe we can meet up and find a few more Vermont Mustangers .

Hi David!

Wow.

I can heartily agree with you. I have NEVER seen a Sunburst Gold Metallic Mustang.

I actually had to look it up online to find out what it looked like!

Just did the LMMCC Spring Cruise this weekend. Over 75 Mustangs cruisin' through Central CT. My round-trip mileage was 330 miles.

Averaged 26.7 MPG too.

Love my V6!

My wife wants me to start up a Mustang club up here.

I must have passed a dozen ponys on my way to work today... I work in MA.

To be honest, I've seen more mustangs up here than Chevys.

Just no one seems to get together except in Londonderry (a 2 hr ride each way).

If you hear of something up here, or in Northern MA, let me know.

We LOVE VT, we used to vacation up here every year, finally moving from CT to MA and now VT.

People are friendly, scenery is great, and I haven't heard any ricers with subwoofers in town.

Justa 5.0 that I had a "Rev Off" with at the General Store.

I'm usually around on weekends (since this was the first Cruise I've done) and working in the gardens.

PM me and we can swap numbers for when you come up to visit.

I'm sure we can find something to do up here!

Even if it's just wash our ponys with a view of the mountains.

My wife and I are only about an hour north of you up I-91 in West Lebanon NH.
We are literally right next to the VT border near White River Jct.
Maybe we could hitch up on a cruise sometime?

Hey guys sorry it's been a while but I don't frequent Stangnet much. I'm usually on the forums at mcrparts.com they have good Mustang forums and they host the forum for the club i'm in NEBOC (new england blue oval club) . I will be up in Vermont next weekend. I have a graduation to attend on Saturday, then it's a quick run up to Waterbury to check out a house that my wife and I are looking to rent. So most likely as of July 1st I will have a home in Vermont, but we'll see . I will be in touch as I get established up there. I will also PM my cell# so that maybe when I have some free time in Vermont we can hook up. I always pass right by West Leb when I come up since I come 93N to 89N. We could easily meet at the Burger King in West Leb if need be

The show was a lot of fun. There were a lot of Mustangs there too.
I work at a high school in hanover NH and last year I started up a car club.
One of the things I have been wanting to do with the car club this year was to possibly let the club members experience first hand what it is like to actually take a car to a car show. I wanted them to experience what all is actually involved in cleaning and prepping a car to be not only show worthy but to be hopefully worthy of receiving some hard earned votes for a good looking car.
So, on June 17th, Fathers day no less, the Mustang club of NH held their 19th annual Mustang Mania Car Show at the NH Technical Center in Nashua NH as was mentioned in this thread. We had been planning this for awhile now and with the weather projected to be good, we had the students arrive at my house at 7am to prepare for the ride down.
One of the students Dad was nice enough to volunteer to drive my '94 Pontiac Trans Am down so we could have two different cars represented there. I drove the '95 Mustang convertible with my wife Alayne riding along. Driving the Mustang down to Nashua with the dad and the two boys following us in the Pontiac Trans Am, we arrived around 9am onto the show field.
Though this was put on by the Mustang club, it was not a show limited to just Mustangs which was why we could take the Trans Am, but all cars were welcome. There were over 300 cars in attendance on Sunday, though I have to tell you that being a Mustang club sponsored show, as you can imagine there were a LOT of Mustangs there which made up a good chunk of the total number of cars there in attendance.
The following are a few pictures and descriptions of the car clubs day at the show. Enjoy.

I would love to show some more pics but the system seems to keep saying my file size is too big.
If I resize them down anymore they will be way too grainy to enjoy
