Is there anybody here with any info or updates about the new intake manifold from FAST? The only thing I have been able to get is the video clip of the guy claiming 40 hp. If the claims are true, then I am sure this will be one of the hottest selling bolt-ons for the S-197 Mustang.

Don't look for it to be out anytime before Christmas, if not later than that. The prototype intake made WAY WAY (read: WAY) less than 40 hp. So they went completely back to the drawing board. They are changing runner length, cross section, pretty much the whole intake.

C&L is working on an aluminum intake manifold for our cars. Personally, I look for it to be released sooner than FAST; and be priced MUCH cheaper. However, I wouldn't expect it much before Christmas either.

Well, that sucks. I was hoping to get one around the end of August. Oh well, maybe something new will be out soon. If anybody can create an intake manifold that produces at least 30 hp and affordable AND durable, they could corner the market. Now, about a carbon fiber or fiberglass replacement body part to shave at least 700lbs.

Roush has carbon fiber front fenders and hood but for mucho $$. I too am hoping for the FAST intake sooner than later, but maybe they will be ready in time for Christmas (hint to the wife).
