Any way to identify if my bumper is OEM or repo?

Hey everyone I just pulled my bumper today while removing the valence and a fender and after getting up close to it noticed the finish is looking pretty crappy. If its an original part I'd like to get it rechromed, otherwise I'd just as soon replace it with another repo. Should OEM parts have a FoMoCo or part # stamp anywhere? I took a pretty good look at it but didn't see anything obvious.

Also, does anybody know of anywhere to get a stainless steel bumper if its not an original part? I seem to remember a friend once telling me that his old Mercury Maraduer had a polished stainless bumper that was a cinch to keep looking fantastic.

Thanks

Ink stamped

I know on the 65-66 bumpers (if it hasn't been rechromed), it will have a ink stamp or paint stamp. It is surface mounted on the center of the back bumper. I'm guessing the front will be gerneral in the same place.
