Thanks! I had the steel wheels widened and powdercoated, and I'm running the police issue dog dish hubcaps you see mounted on the rear wheels in the pic. They aren't on the front wheels because we were chasing down a wheel bearing noise up front when the pics were taken.

How many cubes is your engine? That looks like a very nice car, put together tastefully. Keep posting as you complete it, as I think we all are cool with a bit of Mopar muscle.

Thanks for the compliment! I figured with all of the brand loyal talk on the board lately I'd see how the guys on here took to seeing a classic Mopar posted.

Tasteful was the name of the game on this build. The car originally came with a 273ci Commando engine, but it was long gone when I took possession. The motor you see is a near-stock 360ci, 1975 date code block, fresh factory rebuild with a valve job on the heads, Edelbrock performer intake and Edelbrock 650 cfm carb. It runs great and is backed by a built 904 transmission. I can't wait to drive it.

Damn, that is a really cool car, and very cleeeeean! You know that I bleed a little Ford blue, but It's more that I hate to see breeds get mixed. SO, I guess I'm more of anti-mutt than I am a loyalist. That said, a cool car is a cool car and that Mopar of yours there is a damn cool car, one that I'd be proud to own, and one that I'd cringe to see a LS or a BBF between the strut towers of.

But, everybody is entitled to build their stuff the way they see fit, so if you put a LS in that thing, we could at least still be (internet) friends.

Plan to take it to the track?

Thanks Nik! This car is all Plymouth and will always be. This car won't ever see the track. It's a purpose-built, dead-reliable cruiser. The idea behind the car is to turn the key and go for any length trip, at any time, without a care in the world, and to look and sound good on the way. The entire car was rebuilt: suspension, brakes, cooling, charging, motor, trans, interior, rear end, everything. It cost me, but it was worth it. So yeah, we can still be (interweb) friends.

Thanks! Looking good man! Just keep chipping away at it and you'll get her to where you want to be.

Looks good.

On a side note, you'd better find something when you're done with this and hang onto it....you're running out of signature space.

Nice. I once owned a blue '67 fastback myself. One of the few I wish I'd never sold.
