I dont brake check too much in the Mustang cause id be really pissed if someone hit it, but in my Jeep I could care less, plow right into me...

That usually slows them down... if not I start driving really slow.

If someone is in a hurry or has an emergency then they can pass me. I know if I HAD to get somewhere fast I would be disobeying the double line no pass law left and right, aswell as the speed limit.

I cannot stand idiot drivers. Im quick to throw the finger, also. Stupid? Yes... almost got me in a confrentation with a dump truck driver ON the highway...

But anyway, long story short I have road rage issues. I dont get out and threaten people, I dont try to ram into them, I dont put anyone in danger... I just get pissed off, throw the finger, yell at them (only if they do something real dumb), drive slow, whatever.

Some drivers need to chill the heck out.

The 3 things I hate are people that try to pass you and cut infront of you with NO space just so they can weave in and out of traffic. People that ride my bumper when they can easily pass me safley in the other lane. People that cut off/pull out infront/turn infront at the LAST possible second before it becomes an accident. That last one is the one that gets me yelling and cussing at people in the middle of the highway.

yea, people can always pass you in the next lane. they rather ride your ass instead. if they need to get by so bad, they can just go around you. i dont always feel like beating the crap out of my stang because some idiot in a piece of junk wants to floor his car from every light.

Only had to do it 2 times. I WAIL on the breaks for about 1/2 second and nose dive the car. It scares the CRAP out of them . One guy was shaking his fist around in the car afterwards, talking/yelling to his wife .

But I tell you what...both times the car and SUV went from being about 10 feet from my bumper to about 30+ feet and holding .

If you gotta brake check someone just touch the pedal lightly , so you only
activate the lights .... not acually slow down. Say the tailgaiter is loading
a CD at the exact instant you brake check... guess what happens.

Driving my '87 Crown Vic beater is a totally different story. I constantly get cut off and no one wants to be behind me.

Haha, it's the same thing for me in my car. When I'm driving the wifes 94 saturn, I get all the maniacs and crazies around me. When I drive my mustang, people get out of my way and tend to stay real far back. Rarely do I ever get a tailgater.

They get to pay for a new rear bumper cover .

If you rearend someone its automatically your fault.....unless the person you rearended is convicted of insurance fraud, but it has to be a "setup" where they basically cut you off and slam on the breaks giving you no room...and then the insurance company would have to prove it.

If somebody tailgates me (very rare) ill start slowing down to a ridiculous pace. Usually that will get them off my back.

One time a car tried to pass me (2 lane road one in either direction). I just laid on it, he couldnt pass, pulled behind me and gave me some space. Then i sped up.

I hate people that get all up in my back to get me to go fast. I do drive a mustang, but it doesnt mean i need to be speeding everywhere i go

Getting tailgated used to piss me off more than anything I can think of. Then I got a truck and lifted it. All of the sudden, I couldn't even see them back there. It was rather refreshing, and good therapy. Now that I have the stang, I just avoid looking in the mirror, and crank my favorite song in the cd player if there is a clingon stuck to my bumper. I hate gettin all worked up on the road.

On the interstate, I'll always get out of the way of someone going faster than me. But the closer they tailgate, the slower I move over. If it was really an emergency, they'd flash their brights or something. If you are in a rush, the last thing you want to do is wreck because you were tailgating, so I assume all tailgaters are just pricks, and I act the same way.

Now on 2 lane highways (1 in each direction), I don't speed up for anyone. I pick a speed and stick to it. If they want to pass, they can pass. If they tailgate, I just hope to God we pass a cop and he gets a ticket. If I come up on someone slow, I wait for an opportunity to pass. I never tailgate.

Its about respect. A lot of people (where I'm from, a lot of college kids) don't realize that each car on the road has a person in it. Its not just an obstacle. You don't push people around if they're walking down the sidewalk at a slightly slower pace, so why do it in your car?

I drive how I want to drive, f the rest. I paid for the car, license, insurance, gas, everything. I usually do the speed limit +10%.

however the ratio of me getting a 'gaiter as opposed to me 'gaiting is about 1/5. i usually end up doing illegal things to get around people. what bothers me most is when people drive under 5% throttle and take forever to get halfway to the limit. second thing that pisses me off is big rigs, theyre slow as **** too and i hate them more than life itself, and theyre everywhere! third thing that pisses me off is when people drive the limit, and they know you want to drive faster, and intentionally drive slower because they feel they need to govern your actions and how you drive. fourth thing is when im driving at my pace, and up ahead someone is making a right turn into my lane, and they see me driving at my pace, and they pull into the street im on and proceed to not apply any throttle at all to get up to speed. like, you ****ing saw im going 55 and you pull out doing 30, forcing me to slam on my brakes and further piss me off when you fail to even match the limit, when i want to go 10 over. i now just whip around them and flip them off as i fly by them. i dont get road rage though, i just shrug it off right after im done with my maneuver as i watch them get left in the dust.

im gonna guess that he was in one of the two left lanes. all he had to do was pull over to another lane right of him and let the tailgater pass. everytime i get someone behind me, i quickly get over into the right lane. an guess what? ive never had anyone tailgating me for "no reason".

and im an idiot for trying to avoid confrontation on the road? yeah, that makes sense. i dont understand why everyone tries to "punish" other drivers with either a brake check, or spraying washer fluid at them. its very childish.

I don't get many tailgaters. If I'm on a normal road and get a ricer behind me I usulay just floor it for a second or 2 and they back way off. On the highway no one usualy stays behind me becasue of how loud my car is and the people in front of me usualy hear me comeing and move out of the way. If some one does tailgate me and does not get off I do the break check.

Hahaha.... that would be me. Since the original install, I've only made one extra mod. Instead of a jet nozzle at the end, I put on a misting nozzle (works much better). The button for it is in the console. I know it seems a bit childish, but it works. By the way, for legal reasons, I only put water in that system.

I just slow down to piss them off more. But have it in the right gear in case I need to accelerate quickly. I remember knowing someone who had his reverse lights on a switch so he could flip them on whenever he wanted. Now that freaks people out!

Iv never done the washer spray...but thats funny .
As far as the break check, I have to get rediculously mad with the peeps behind me to do that. And when I do it, its not like everyone elses tap the breaks...I WAIL on the breaks VERY HARD for a split second.

And iv only done it 2 times, and both times the retards behind me are RIGHT on my bumper and will not pass me when there is plenty of room, and im also doing a few over.
First time I done this, I just touched the pedal to give em a warning and the backed off for a minute and then before I know it they are right back on my bumper again....kids swaying to the music and screwing around.
I wait until they are looking and then SLAM the breaks on...they slam on their breaks and are all over the road not knowing if they need to swerve or not

...After that they decide to keep their distance and decided to stop swaying to the music for a few miles . Later we turn onto 71 and look over and start laughing as they pass by.
Good times...but slightly dangerous, yet may save their lives down the road by teaching them to NOT tail gate

anybody else have this problem.
