Anybody figure out their car is too low after its too late???

Gotta agree on that opinion. I am not sure what people see in these giant blingy wheels on a Mustang. Leave them for the Caprices, C300s and Escalades.
I think it si funny how some people claim a 20" wheel fills the wheel wells better. It wont fill the wheelwell any more than a 17" rim if they both have 27" tall tires. My solution to filling back wheelwells is bigger tires, 28+" tall fit perfectly (305/454/18) and no need to lower the car.

They are not a bad set of rims. But then again I live in Miami

For the price, you could not go wrong. Hell you can always resell them !

As for rim size, I run 20's on my ride, and everyone comments on my Shelby Torq's Heritage rims. 305/30 10.5 out back and 255/35 8.5 up front now.

I like the wheels. The design is cool. BUT , I do think sometimes a wheel can take away from the design of a well built car. If the bars of that wheel were black with the crome lip, it would blend in so well with your black droptop. Maybe its a regional thing or maybe its an age thing. I see guys into their 50s and 60s who love my car, but I meet people in their 20/30s who say why i didnt run 20s or 22s. 20's can look awesome if done right. As big a tire you can get w/o rubbing and lower it accordingly. bottom line is I'm 36 and I love the muscle car look.

Its not that I don't like the size, but I personally don't like the style of the wheels. I split my time between DC and LA, so you can't use that arguement there I'm running my stock 18's, but that's because I haven't yet found a set of wheels that I like more than the stockers to make it worth the cost of swapping.

To answer your post's title... I found out my car would be too low just in time. I was in the process of moving, and I was just about to put in an order to get my car lowered and throw on a front lip spoiler when I pulled into my new driveway... and noticed I had about 3/4 inch clearance on the front bumper. Good thing I didn't buy that Shelby GT...

Mmmm...I can't say I'm a big fan (or a fan at all) of those wheel/tires but you can lump me in with one of those in "the wrong crowd" because I'm "still on stock 17 or 18's"...although I don't live in the midwest but am actually on the west coast!

IMO the sidewalls on those tires are ridiculously thin...for both performance AND style.

But what do I know?? I just bought an 08 GT with the intention of immediately ditching the factory-stock 17" coke bottle mags and going with 18" or 19" wheels.

You know what though? I'm actually starting to LIKE the 17" wheels. I dig the fact that I'm driving a Mustang and not rattling out the fillings in my teeth...and the straight-line traction seems to be superior to all the cars I've owned (some of them Mustangs) with lower profile and wider tires. Plus, the wider sidewall kind of gives the car a vintage rat racer type look that I like...more classic than trendy...anti-bling!!

The only important thing is if YOU like the wheels.
